Specialist vehicle manufacturer Terberg has unveiled a comprehensive package aimed at transforming safety and efficiency in industrial logistics environments. The announcement, made on 10 August 2026, bundles hardware upgrades, standard-fit telematics, and workforce training into a single integrated offering for operators managing high-frequency site traffic.
The centrepiece of the initiative is a new generation of driver-assistance technology that pairs camera and radar sensors with artificial intelligence. These systems continuously scan the immediate surroundings of each vehicle, flagging hazards in real time so that operators can react before a collision occurs — a critical capability in congested factory yards where blind spots and tight manoeuvring spaces are the norm.
Cab design has also come under scrutiny. Terberg has reworked the interiors to reduce physical strain on drivers and improve all-round visibility, arguing that a more comfortable working environment directly supports concentration and lowers the likelihood of human error.

The system feeds live data from the entire fleet to operators, allowing them to track vehicle condition and plan deployment windows with greater accuracy. That data stream also enables predictive maintenance, meaning repairs can be scheduled based on actual machine wear rather than guesswork — a shift that promises to cut unplanned downtime and trim total ownership costs.
Training completes the picture. Through its in-house Terberg Academy, the firm is offering courses designed to familiarise staff with both the vehicles and the new assistance systems, ensuring that the technology is used to its full potential.
Speaking at the launch, sales director Benedict Schuster said workplace safety and fleet efficiency are two sides of the same coin. Sustainable reductions in both accident risk and operating expenses, he argued, can only be achieved when reliable hardware, digital oversight, and properly trained personnel work in tandem.
