Givaudan opens Casablanca development hub on September 10, 2026

Givaudan announced on September 10, 2026, that it had opened a development hub in Casablanca to expand its Fragrance & Beauty presence across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The company said the site was intended to strengthen its position in Morocco and support customers across the Maghreb and West Africa. Givaudan identified the hub as part of its long-term regional strategy.
Regional development capabilities
The facility houses application and perfumery laboratories, a development department and office space. Givaudan said the site would support innovation in Fabric Care, Home Care, Personal Care and Fine Fragrance. A team of evaluators and marketing managers is also based at the location, giving customers access to local technical and commercial support. The company’s release said Givaudan had been present in Morocco since March 2025.
Focus on SAMEA markets
Givaudan described the hub as a step in its broader growth plans for the SAMEA region, which it called a key priority for the company’s fragrance business. The company said the Casablanca team would serve customers across the Maghreb and West Africa while helping accelerate regional product development. Givaudan’s release was issued at 7:30 a.m. CEST on September 10, 2026, and quoted Maurizio Volpi, president of Fragrance & Beauty, on the strategic importance of the investment.
