The cost-saving drive is aggressive. Valneva intends to cut 10–15% of its global workforce as the travel-vaccine business struggles. The roadshow’s intensity underscores how much depends on winning back confidence.

If the AGM dialogue falls flat, the stock could quickly retest its 52-week floor. Valneva’s leadership is betting the combination of a leaner cost base and a blockbuster pipeline candidate will be enough to halt the slide.
