Backstreet Boys play Sphere in Las Vegas on 31 December 2026 as part of the Into the Millennium residency. The New Year’s Eve date is one of three holiday-weekend shows, followed by performances at the same venue on 1 and 2 January 2027.
The Into the Millennium residency reaches New Year’s Eve
The official events page lists the 31 December 2026 date at Sphere, with Las Vegas named as the city. It also lists 1 January and 2 January 2027 at the venue, keeping the three-show run together over the New Year’s weekend.
Sphere Entertainment Co. describes the dates as part of the Into the Millennium residency and identifies Live Nation as producer in its Sphere Entertainment announcement. The Las Vegas booking is therefore a holiday extension of a named residency rather than an isolated concert listing.
How the Sphere residency frames the Backstreet Boys catalogue
The residency gives the Las Vegas engagement a defined musical frame. Its programme connects the performances with the group’s album Millennium, while also drawing on the wider Backstreet Boys catalogue.
That focus places the New Year’s shows within the same concert concept as the wider Sphere engagement. The venue’s immersive presentation and the album-centred programme are part of the identity attached to the Las Vegas dates, alongside the group’s established pop repertoire.
Las Vegas dates continue into January 2027
The official calendar keeps the holiday sequence compact. The 31 December performance is followed by the 1 January and 2 January 2027 shows at Sphere, giving the Las Vegas residency three consecutive listed dates across the turn of the year.
All three performances remain in Las Vegas and at the same venue. The schedule distinguishes them by their individual dates while presenting them as part of the continuing Into the Millennium engagement.
