Evanescence release the remastered and expanded The Open Door (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on 6 November 2026. Craft Recordings issues the set as a 20th-anniversary return to the band’s second studio album.
The Open Door deluxe edition adds four bonus tracks
The edition pairs the original album with four bonus tracks. Craft Recordings lists the release date as 6 November 2026 and identifies the package as a remastered, expanded anniversary edition.
The additions are If You Don’t Mind, Together Again, The Last Song I’m Wasting On You and a previously unreleased demo of Good Enough. A separate release announcement describes the formats as 2-LP, CD and digital.
How the anniversary set fits Evanescence’s catalogue
The edition reconnects Evanescence with an album that followed the group’s debut Fallen. The release announcement notes that The Open Door reached number one on the Billboard 200, placing the reissue inside the band’s established rock catalogue.
Its musical world combines heavy guitars with orchestration, electronic textures, choral arrangements and piano-led writing. The expanded edition adds archival material while preserving the original album’s central sequence.
The bonus material opens another door into the catalogue
If You Don’t Mind, Together Again and The Last Song I’m Wasting On You return as rarities from the album era. The Good Enough demo is the item described as previously unreleased, giving the expanded set a clear archival focus.
The release follows the band’s latest studio album, Sanctuary, and arrives while Evanescence continues an international touring cycle. It links the group’s current activity with a record from an earlier phase through newly presented archival material.
