Evanescence released the remastered and expanded The Open Door (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on 6 November 2026, bringing the band’s second studio album back in remastered and expanded form. Craft Recordings issued the set in 2-LP, CD and digital formats, with four bonus tracks added to the original album.
Evanescence’s The Open Door expands with four bonus tracks
The edition arrived through Craft Recordings on 6 November 2026. It combines the original album with four bonus tracks, three rarities from the era and a previously unreleased demo of Good Enough. Craft Recordings describes the expanded anniversary edition as a remastered set available on 2-LP, CD and digital formats.
The added material includes If You Don’t Mind, Together Again, The Last Song I’m Wasting On You and the Good Enough demo. The announcement lists coloured vinyl variants, including Metallic Blue, Midnight Nebula, Sea Glass, Ghost Blend, Mercury Blend, Opaque Ivory and Translucent Cobalt. The set therefore extends the album without replacing its original sequence.
Evanescence’s anniversary set revisits a broader rock palette
The Open Door was Evanescence’s second studio album. Its heavy guitars sit alongside orchestration, electronic textures, choral arrangements and piano, giving the record a broader palette than a straightforward hard-rock release. That combination is preserved in the remastered core.
The expanded tracklist links that established identity to material that had remained outside the original album. Three rarities and the demo add four recordings, so the package connects the familiar 13-song sequence with a wider view of the same creative period. The result is a catalogue edition shaped around both the finished record and its surrounding archive.
