Kontra K releases the orchestral album Porzellan on 18 December 2026. The album is presented as the counterpart to Aus der Asche, with classical instrumentation reshaping known and new pieces.
Kontra K’s Porzellan arrives as an orchestral album
The official album page sets 18 December 2026 as the release day and describes Porzellan as an album made with an orchestra. It also presents the record as the counterpart to Aus der Asche.
An Eventim announcement likewise places the release on 18 December 2026 and calls it a classical album. The same announcement links the project to the arena cycle, giving the orchestral release a place beside the act’s larger live programme.
Six Porzellan editions map Kontra K’s classical turn
The official shop lists six editions. The standalone formats are CD and double LP, while a collectors bundle combines both with a Blu-ray concert documentary, photographs and poems.
An independent retail listing names Letzte Wölfe as the label for the CD edition. The Blu-ray element documents a concert at a Hamburg Schauspielhaus, so the release carries a filmed performance alongside the music.
Kontra K’s Berlin rap identity meets classical arrangements
Kontra K is identified as a Berlin rapper, while product details classify the music as German-language hip hop and rap.
The album therefore changes the instrumental palette without leaving the act’s rap setting. Its pairing of familiar and new material with an orchestra gives the release a clear connection to the catalogue named on the official homepage.
