Mariah Carey released the 25th anniversary edition of Glitter on 30 October 2026, bringing the expanded soundtrack to digital services and vinyl. The release arrived through Def Jam Records and UMe.
Mariah Carey’s Glitter edition adds 15 bonus tracks
The Digital Deluxe Edition adds 15 tracks to the album, including rare and previously unreleased recordings, remixes and collaborations with Channel Tres and Rochelle Jordan. Universal Music Canada details the release in its 30 October release announcement, while Billboard’s 25th-anniversary coverage also lists the deluxe edition among new music issued that day.
The reissue returns Glitter to streaming platforms and marks its first return to vinyl. The standard physical edition uses Midnight Purple 2LP vinyl, while the limited deluxe pressing uses Glittering Pink 2LP vinyl and adds three bonus tracks.
Carey’s official website presents the wider campaign as #Glitter25 in its official Glitter update. The expanded track list includes Lead The Way, Want You (Mariah Only Version) and All My Life (A Cappella).
Mariah Carey’s Glitter blends dance-pop, funk, hip-hop and R&B
Glitter is a soundtrack project, so this edition expands a work tied to both Carey’s recorded music and a film rather than presenting a new studio album.
The soundtrack’s musical palette includes dance-pop, funk, hip-hop and R&B. Its expanded edition broadens that varied Carey project through archival recordings, alternate vocal takes, remixes and a live medley, rather than simply duplicating the original sequence.
Glitter links rare recordings with new collaborations
Channel Tres revisits All My Life with a new remix, and Rochelle Jordan appears on a reimagined Didn’t Mean To Turn You On. The expanded track list also includes a Never Too Far / Hero medley with Westlife and an alternate vocal take of Out Here On My Own.
The vinyl deluxe edition selects three bonus tracks: Out Here On My Own, Never Too Far / Hero and Loverboy (Firecracker - Original Version). Across the digital and physical formats, Carey’s anniversary release connects restored catalogue material with newly presented recordings and collaborations.
