Massive Attack’s Primavera Sound booking reaches Barcelona
Billboard’s 5 October line-up announcement names Massive Attack in the newly revealed Barcelona programme. The festival’s principal run is scheduled for 3 to 5 June 2027 at Parc del Fòrum, with additional events on 2 and 6 June.
The bill combines alternative pop, rock and electronic music. Doechii, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines D.C., Hayley Williams, FKA twigs, The Chemical Brothers and Robyn are among the other names listed for the anniversary edition.
Why the Barcelona programme fits Massive Attack
Massive Attack are an English trip-hop collective from Bristol. The Official Charts profile identifies Robert Del Naja and Grant Marshall as the current core and notes the group’s work with guest collaborators.
The catalogue includes Blue Lines, Mezzanine and 100th Window. The Barcelona booking links that Bristol identity to a festival programme built around established acts, newer artists and electronic music.
Primavera Sound expands the 2027 festival programme
Primavera Sound’s 2027 programme extends beyond the three principal days. The wider schedule includes an opening programme on 2 June 2027 and the Primavera Bits electronic closing event on 6 June 2027.
Massive Attack are therefore listed within a Barcelona festival that runs across several programme days rather than a single arena date. The published location for the main event is Parc del Fòrum, in the Barcelona area.
