The catalogue entry identifies Nine Inch Noize as a Nine Inch Nails release made with Boys Noize. Its track list contains 12 reworked versions of songs associated with the project. The sequence moves from Intro and Vessel to Heresy, Copy Of A and Closer. It also includes Came Back Haunted and As Alive As You Need Me To Be.
Nine Inch Nails carry industrial rock into a new collaboration
Nine Inch Nails is an American industrial rock act centred on Trent Reznor, who created the project in Cleveland. Britannica’s background identifies Atticus Ross as another principal member and describes the act as Reznor’s stage name.
This two-person core matters to the new physical release because Boys Noize joins an established NIN framework rather than replacing it. The project therefore links Reznor’s industrial songwriting with the German producer’s electronic approach. The track selection keeps recognisable Nine Inch Nails material at the centre while presenting each song as a Nine Inch Noize version. That combination gives the record a direct connection to the band’s catalogue and a distinct collaborative identity.
The official discography places Pretty Hate Machine, Broken and The Downward Spiral among the act’s main releases. Those titles establish the industrial foundation that the new collaboration reworks. The December physical edition consequently presents familiar material through a different production partnership. Its title preserves the Nine Inch Nails name while adding Boys Noize to the project’s identity.
