Post Malone and the New Year’s Eve Festival
Alesso joins the bill and closes the night. The festival brings the rapper and singer to the Delta Center for a one-night-only celebration connected with the arrival of 2027.
The official Delta Center listing gives doors at 9pm and a 10pm local start on 31 December 2026. The KSL event details likewise identify Post Malone and Alesso as the festival’s headliners.
Post Malone’s catalogue brings country to the bill
The Grammy biography places Post Malone’s work across pop, country and rap. It identifies Stoney as his debut album and traces his breakthrough to White Iverson.
His catalogue includes beerbongs & bentleys, Hollywood’s Bleeding, Austin and F-1 Trillion, moving between hip-hop, pop and country. The Salt Lake City bill places that genre range inside a single festival rather than a single-style programme. It also pairs his concert with Alesso’s electronic closing slot, giving the evening two distinct musical centres.
Winter Weekend expands the Salt Lake City programme
Winter Weekend extends beyond the concert, with the New Year’s Eve Festival following an outdoor hockey game at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The organisers describe the programme as four days of sports and entertainment centred on Salt Lake City.
That wider plan gives the concert a city-wide setting while keeping Post Malone’s performance at the Delta Center. Palm Tree Crew is the festival partner, while Smith Entertainment Group presents the wider programme.
