Riley Green releases Alabama Vs. Tennessee as a new single
The standalone single arrived through Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment and is presented as a collaboration with Peyton Manning. Green and Manning share the performance, with the song built around the contrasting Alabama and Tennessee loyalties associated with them.
The release also appears as a new college-football track. Erik Dylan, Riley Green and Wyatt McCubbin wrote it, while Erik Dylan and Green handled production. That combination connects the record to Green’s country work and to the sporting subject named in its title.
Riley Green brings Alabama roots to the collaboration
Riley Green is a Jacksonville, Alabama native who played quarterback at Jacksonville State. That background places his role in a song centred on Alabama and Tennessee within the musical framing of the release.
His fourth studio album, That’s Just Me, is a 19-track country project produced by Dann Huff and Green. Its listed collaborators include Brooks & Dunn, Randy Owen, Hannah McFarland and Jake Worthington, placing the Manning duet alongside Green’s wider collaborative approach.
Peyton Manning adds a second voice to Riley Green’s country single
