System of a Down release the Toxicity anniversary edition on 20 November 2026. The release marks 25 years of Toxicity and pairs the original album with a bonus track in new physical editions.
System of a Down expand Toxicity for 20 November
The official vinyl listing gives the release as a standard black LP with the original album and a bonus 7-inch single. The single carries Johnny on its A-side, while its B-side has a custom 25 etching.
Release details also describe a CD edition with new cover art and a 24-page booklet. The vinyl packaging includes a double-sided poster, so the anniversary set links two physical formats with different extras.
System of a Down’s four-piece identity frames the reissue
System of a Down are an Armenian-American heavy metal band from Glendale, California. An Official Charts profile lists Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmayan as the current line-up.
That four-member continuity gives the anniversary release a clear place in the band’s catalogue. It revisits a complete album while adding Johnny, a track that had previously appeared as a bonus recording associated with the Toxicity era.
System of a Down restore the hidden Toxicity credit
The revised packaging credits the hidden closing composition as Der Voghormia rather than the title often used for it. The correction appears on the vinyl track listing and in the accompanying anniversary information.
The album sequence includes Prison Song, Chop Suey!, Toxicity and Aerials. The bonus single adds Johnny, giving the physical edition a new element without changing the original album programme.
