The Beach Boys close their 2026 touring season at Hard Rock Live in Bristol, Virginia, on 13 November 2026. The booking places the long-running California group at a future United States date after a reshaped autumn schedule.
Why the Bristol date closes the 2026 touring season
The venue’s current event listing places The Beach Boys at Hard Rock Live Bristol on Friday, 13 November 2026. It lists the booking as a concert and gives doors at 6.30pm. The event is described as the closing performance of the 2026 touring season, making Bristol the final scheduled stop in this run.
The appearance follows a rescheduled run that has brought the group to the final date of its 2026 schedule. The venue’s information identifies Hard Rock Live Bristol as a 23,000-square-foot multi-use venue at 500 Gate City Hwy. Its concert showroom holds over 2,000 guests, while the venue states that its events are for people aged 21 and over.
The Beach Boys carry California surf-pop into Bristol
Founded in Hawthorne, California, in 1961, The Beach Boys built their identity around close vocal harmonies and surf-oriented pop. The band’s official history says the group signed with Capitol Records in July 1962 and released its first album, Surfin’ Safari, that year.
That foundation later broadened into more elaborate studio pop. The 1966 album Pet Sounds shows that wider direction, linking the early harmony-led style with the group’s album-focused work. The Bristol date therefore connects a current touring season with a catalogue that spans surf-pop beginnings and the studio period that followed. The band’s history also records its induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
