The Chainsmokers introduce Baby as an independent single
The official release page for Baby identifies The Chainsmokers as the artist and records the release date as 16 October 2026. It presents the work as a digital track, with streaming and high-quality download formats.
PM Studio’s release account describes Baby as the first release as an independent artist under Secondhand Happiness. The single therefore links a fixed release day with a change in the duo’s recording setup, while keeping the act name on the credit.
The Chainsmokers remain rooted in Los Angeles dance-pop
The Chainsmokers are Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, the American electronic duo behind the release. The official page places the act in Los Angeles and tags Baby with electronic, future bass, electropop and pop classifications.
The track sits beside a catalogue that the same page lists as Love Is Kind, Breathe, Smooth, Helium, White Wine & Adderall and Sumertime Friends. The combination of the Los Angeles location and the genre tags places Baby within the duo’s electronic-pop identity, while the release credit signals an independent move.
Baby extends The Chainsmokers’ digital release catalogue
On the Bandcamp listing, Baby appears as a standalone track rather than an album or EP. The page also gives the audio format as 16-bit/44.1kHz, a technical detail for listeners comparing the available download options.
DJ Mag Germany’s account characterises the song as melodic dance-pop and notes Ilsey Juber’s vocal contribution. That detail gives Baby a guest vocal presence alongside the duo’s artist credit.
