U2 announced a second Berlin concert for The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour on 5 November 2026. The added show is scheduled for 1 July 2027 at Olympiastadion Berlin.
U2’s second Berlin date is set for 1 July 2027
The announcement names Olympiastadion as the venue and places the additional concert on The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour. U2’s official Berlin announcement gives the concert date as Thursday 1 July 2027.
The added concert sits alongside the previously announced Berlin date on 30 June 2027. An independent Berlin concert account confirms that both shows are planned for the same stadium, giving the German stop consecutive nights.
U2’s Dublin line-up shapes the 2027 stadium programme
U2 are an Irish rock band built around Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. The group formed in Dublin, and that city remains central to the band’s documented identity.
The Berlin booking brings that Dublin group into a two-night German programme for the same tour. The consecutive dates also make Olympiastadion the sole German venue named in the announced itinerary, with the two performances separated by one day.
Carnaval De Luz sets the musical frame for U2’s tour
The tour is connected to Carnaval De Luz, U2’s new album due on 13 November 2026 through Island Records. The album’s official details describe a collection of songs produced by Jacknife Lee.
The track The Greatest Show On Earth also supplies the name of the concert series. That link places the Berlin dates within a programme that joins the album release with the band’s return to European stadiums in 2027.
