Weezer take The Gathering to Australia and New Zealand
The announced run carries the name The Gathering Tour and joins Weezer with Third Eye Blind and Fountains Of Wayne. The six-show itinerary covers five Australian cities before reaching Auckland.
The first date is at RAC Arena in Perth on 24 February 2027, followed by Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. The final concert is at Spark Arena in Auckland on 7 March 2027, according to the published tour schedule.
Weezer bring a four-member line-up to the regional run
Weezer are a Los Angeles band whose music combines alternative rock, power pop, distorted guitars and strongly melodic choruses. Their colour-coded album tradition gives the new tour a clear link to the group’s long-running studio identity.
The current line-up comprises Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell and Scott Shriner. That quartet brings a catalogue spanning the Blue Album, Pinkerton, the Green Album, OK Human, Van Weezer and the SZNZ series.
Three alternative-rock acts share the six-show bill
Third Eye Blind and Fountains Of Wayne join Weezer throughout the Australian and New Zealand dates. The Auckland concert is also scheduled as the first live appearance in New Zealand for both guest acts.
The regional itinerary gives The Gathering a separate run of arena shows, beginning in Western Australia and moving east before crossing to Auckland for its closing date.
