Skydeck Chicago hosts Sound Bath Meditations on 27 October

Skydeck Chicago hosts Sound Bath Meditations at Willis Tower in Chicago on 27 October 2026, bringing a guided session with singing bowls to the 99th floor. The event links a wellness programme with access to one of the building's best-known visitor spaces, The Ledge, after the session.

The programme is listed for 27 October 2026 by the Skydeck operator, which presents it as a recurring wellness event hosted with Current Vibrations. The listing describes a full sound bath meditation for beginners and experienced meditators, followed by access to The Ledge on the 103rd floor.

Sound Bath Meditations brings a 27 October event to Skydeck

The event listing places Sound Bath Meditations inside Willis Tower and describes the session as Wellness in the Sky: Sound Bath Meditation. The programme centres on guided meditation and the sound of singing bowls rather than a standard sightseeing visit.

The operator's 27 October event listing says guests can continue to The Ledge after the meditation. The same listing identifies Current Vibrations as the partner and says the event welcomes people with different levels of experience.

How the 99th-floor session connects with the tower

The event is arranged across two levels of the building. The meditation is presented on the 99th floor, while the subsequent viewing experience takes place on the 103rd floor, where The Ledge extends beyond the facade in glass-floored boxes.

Willis Tower's own visitor information describes the Skydeck as being 1,353 feet above the ground and says the glass boxes extend 4.3 feet from the deck. Those figures connect the 27 October 2026 programme with the physical structure: the evening moves from an enclosed sound session to a viewpoint suspended beyond the tower's exterior.

The building's official Skydeck information also places the attraction within Willis Tower at 233 South Wacker Drive in Chicago.

What the programme adds to a regular Skydeck visit

Sound Bath Meditations gives the observation deck a scheduled cultural and wellness element on 27 October 2026. The event is not described as a change to the ordinary viewing areas; instead, it adds a guided activity before access to The Ledge.

That distinction matters for travellers planning a visit to Chicago. The programme is tied to a specific date and venue, while the building itself remains the setting for both the meditation and the elevated view. The 99th-floor location also separates the session from the 103rd-floor Ledge experience that follows it.
