Prism Synapse 170 Dual-Line Lenkdrachen opens with a 170 cm wingspan and a ready-to-fly layout built around two-line control. Prism Kites sells the Synapse 170 from Seattle, and the same model page highlights compact packing and no assembly.

Synapse 170 Flight Setup

The US product page says the Synapse 170 uses 75' x 150 lbs Dyneema flying lines and comes ready to fly with flying lines and wrist straps. It also describes a compact pouch and an all-fabric, self-inflating parafoil design.

A companion Prism page for replacement lines lists the Synapse 170 and 200 together with the same 75' x 150 lbs Dyneema spec, which matches the kite page. Kitty Hawk Kites lists the Synapse 170 at $99.99, while The Kite Loft lists the Synapse 170 Power/Speed Foil Kite by Prism at $99.99 as well.

Price And Position

Those U.S. retailer listings place the Synapse 170 in a sub-$100 slot on the day of publication. Prism Kites also presents the Synapse line as dual-line foils for casual flying and beginner use, and Kitty Hawk Kites calls the model beginner-intermediate.

Compared with the Synapse 140, the 170 uses the same product line but a larger 67-inch wing span on the retailer page and 75' x 150 lbs Dyneema lines. That makes the 170 the larger sibling in the range shown by Prism Kites and the retailer listings.

What The Package Includes

Kitty Hawk Kites says the Synapse 170 includes flying lines, wrist straps, and a compact pouch, while Prism Kites describes the same model as ready to fly. The result is a kite that lands as a boxed set rather than a bare sail and separate line purchase.

Prism Kites' contact page places the company in Seattle at 4214 24th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98199. That ties the model to a US sales base and keeps the brand's own naming simple: Synapse 170.

Bottom Line For Flyers

Prism Synapse 170 Dual-Line Lenkdrachen is a 170 cm dual-line foil kite with 75' x 150 lbs Dyneema lines and a ready-to-fly package. The size, line spec, and under-$100 retail price make it a straightforward pick for beginners who want a compact foil layout rather than a framed stunt kite.
